Welcome to SaHel Locs. These Terms and Conditions ('Terms') govern your use of our website (sahellocs.com) and your engagement with our services. By booking an appointment, completing our intake form, or using our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not book or use our services.
SaHel Locs provides professional loc care services, including but not limited to: Starter Loc Consultations, Microlocs Installation, Loc Retightening, Loc Maintenance, Loc Repair & Reconstruction, and Loc Detox. All services are performed by or under the direct supervision of our certified loctician. Services are subject to availability and may be modified or discontinued at any time without prior notice.
All appointments require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. The deposit amount varies per service and will be communicated at booking. All deposits are credited toward your total service cost. Your appointment is not confirmed until the deposit has been received in full. Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances, including change of mind or rescheduling. SaHel Locs reserves the right to decline or cancel any booking at its discretion.
Clients must provide a minimum of 48 hours' advance notice for all cancellations or rescheduling requests.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.

SaHel Locs reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, clients will be offered a full rescheduling option or a deposit refund.
A no-show is defined as failing to appear for a scheduled appointment without prior notice.
Clients who are a no-show will forfeit their deposit in full.
Clients with two or more no-shows may be required to pay the full service cost upfront for all future bookings.
Clients are expected to arrive 5–10 minutes before their scheduled appointment time.
Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may have their service shortened or their appointment rescheduled, at the sole discretion of the stylist.
Late arrivals that result in appointment rescheduling will not be eligible for a deposit refund.
Hair Extensions — Policy & Process
SaHel Locs recommends Solar Locs extensions as our preferred supplier for loc extension services. Clients have two options for sourcing extensions:
Option 1 — Order Through SaHel Locs (Recommended) Esther will place the extension order on your behalf with Solar Locs following your consultation. Payment for extensions is made directly by the client to the vendor. Solar Locs extensions are custom-made to order and require approximately one month of production time. For this reason, the following timeline applies:
Consultation completed and service confirmed
Installation appointment booked and deposit received
Extension order placed by SaHel Locs on your behalf
Approximately one month later, extensions arrive and installation proceeds
Your installation date will be scheduled with this production lead time in mind.
Option 2 — Bring Your Own Extensions Clients who already own extensions or prefer to source their own are welcome to do so, subject to the following conditions:
Extensions must be 100% human hair. Synthetic or blended extensions will not be accepted for installation.
If you already have extensions at the time of your consultation, bring them with you so Esther can assess compatibility before your installation is confirmed.
Extensions must be received by SaHel Locs at least one week before your installation date to allow sufficient time for preparation.
If extensions are not received within one week of your installation date, your appointment will need to be rescheduled. No penalty will apply provided notice is given before the 48-hour window.
If extensions are not received and notice is given less than 48 hours before your installation date, your deposit will be forfeited.
SaHel Locs accepts no liability for the quality, condition, or suitability of client-supplied extensions. If extensions are assessed as incompatible or unsuitable for safe installation at any point, SaHel Locs reserves the right to decline the service. In this case, a reschedule will be offered.
Regardless of the option chosen, extension costs are entirely separate from SaHel Locs service fees.
Results may vary based on individual hair type, texture, density, porosity, and overall hair health. SaHel Locs is not liable for outcomes that differ from expectations due to factors outside of our direct control, including but not limited to undisclosed pre-existing scalp or hair conditions, prior chemical treatments, or client non-compliance with aftercare instructions.
Clients are encouraged to disclose all relevant hair and scalp information during the intake process to enable the best possible service outcome.
SaHel Locs reserves the right to decline service to any client whose hair or scalp condition poses a risk to their health, the stylist's health, or other clients. This includes but is not limited to active scalp infections, open wounds, or highly contagious conditions.
SaHel Locs may photograph client hair for internal documentation, portfolio use, and marketing purposes. Clients who do not wish to be photographed must inform the stylist before their appointment begins. Identifiable images of clients will never be shared publicly without explicit written consent.
All content on sahelocs.com — including text, images, logos, graphics, and brand materials — is the exclusive intellectual property of SaHel Locs and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SaHel Locs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our services or website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, United States of America. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Maryland.
SaHel Locs reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the 'Last Updated' date above. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
